The Bay

Come on and enjoy a day out in Cardiff Bay. Don’t forget to pop in to the Fabulous Welshcakes Mermaid Quay shop and say hello. In addition to our fabulous cakes we have a lovely range of fantastic Welsh food and gifts.

If you come down to Cardiff bay and enjoy a great day out, don’t forget to pop in to our original shop, say hello and grab a bag of warm welshcakes to share as you walk around the Bay, enjoying the sights, historical and new!

There’s just loads to do down here. Take a boat trip (slow water taxi’s, tours or crazy-fast adrenaline rushes), walk across the barrage all the way to Penarth, let the kids play in the barrage park, hire a bike, enjoy a free concert in the stunning Millenium Centre, or just hang out and enjoy the views with a drink from one of the many bars on a sunny day. But, whatever you do, don’t forget to pop into our lovely Fabulous Welshcakes Mermaid Quay shop. We look forward to seeing you.

Once you’ve tasted a freshly griddled, buttery welshcake you’ll be back for more, as many of our loyal customers will confirm! In fact, according to lots of our customers a visit to the Bay is not complete without a bag of warm welshcakes straight off the griddle (freshly cooked every day) go on… treat yourself!

We also create new flavour welsh cakes from time to time, so keep an eye out for our posters in the windows to let you know what’s new or coming up.
